The Beatles Are Coming!
It was this day in music, September, 15, 1964, that the Beatles were here in New Orleans at the Congress Inn Hotel. Their press conference was held at that location, out on Chef Highway, to avoid the huge mob of fans! They would play at City Park Stadium the next day. The ‘British Invasion’ was off and running.
