John Edward Hadskey, III, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Metairie, Louisiana. He was born on April 16, 1960, in Lynwood, California, and his journey through life touched many.John is survived by many loved ones. He leaves behind his father, John E. Hadskey, Jr., his two sons John E. Hadskey, IV, and Stephen Hadskey (Hannah) and his daughter April Johnson (Eric) . John was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, David Hadskey (Kim) , his partner Stephanie Hebeisen and his loyal companion Shar-Pei, Etta.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda B. Hadskey.
He shared his love of music through his bigger-than-life radio personality and tireless promotion of the local music scene. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on June 9, 2025, at The Event Center, located at 1000 W Esplanade Ave #110, Kenner, LA 70065, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
