“On Saturday, September 29th please join the Benjamin & Yancy Foundation* for our Educational Workshop on ‘What is Cancer?’ from 10AM to Noon at Norman Mayer Library. Guest speaker Dr. Daniel Canter (Ochsner Hospital, Urology & Cancer Care) will discuss various types of cancer and treatment options in depth. The Benjamin & Yancy Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports breast and prostate cancer patients through education, screenings, supportive therapies, and much more. So please, join the BY Foundation on Saturday, September 29th from 10AM to Noon at Norman Mayer Library, 3001 Gentilly Boulevard. There will be refreshments, giveaways and lots of useful, life-saving information shared, so please feel free to invite others. For more information, please call (504) 333-6034.”
